The UB15 is commonly installed beside sink bases or at the end of a cabinet run, where the drawer provides a convenient place for everyday items like keys, pens, notepads, and kitchen utensils, while the cabinet below stores larger household items within easy reach.
Why Choose a UB15 Base Cabinet?
The UB15 is an excellent choice when you want a compact cabinet without giving up valuable storage space. While it only adds three inches over a UB12, those additional inches create noticeably more usable storage and provide greater flexibility for organizing your kitchen.

is a good economical choice when you only need limited drawer storage. The UB15 provides noticeably more cabinet space while maintaining a compact footprint, making it the better option whenever your layout has the available room.
UB15 vs. UB18
The decision between a UB15 and a
UB18 Base Cabinet
usually comes down to available space. If your layout allows for the larger cabinet, we generally recommend choosing the wider option because additional storage is almost always beneficial.
If you're planning to install a double 28-quart trash pullout, we recommend choosing the UB18. The additional width is much better suited for that application.

Soft-close concealed hinges and full-extension soft-close drawer glides provide smooth, quiet operation. The unfinished maple exterior is ready for paint, stain, or clear coat, while the cabinet interior already includes a clear natural protective finish.

Finishing Your Unfinished Maple Cabinet
The unfinished maple exterior is ready for paint, stain, or a clear finish. Maple can absorb stain unevenly, so proper preparation with a quality wood conditioner or sanding sealer is recommended before staining.
