Finishing Your Unfinished Maple Cabinet
The unfinished maple exterior can be painted, stained, or clear coated to coordinate with the surrounding cabinetry. Maple can absorb stain unevenly, so proper preparation with a quality wood conditioner or sanding sealer is recommended before staining.
