24-Inch White Shaker Base Cabinet
The WB24 is a 24-inch-wide White Shaker Base Cabinet featuring one drawer, two doors, and one adjustable shelf. It is one of the most popular base cabinet sizes because it provides generous everyday storage while remaining easier to assemble, install, and handle than wider cabinets.
The WB24 works almost anywhere in a kitchen layout. It fits well beside a sink base, near a range, along a primary cabinet run, on an island, or anywhere you have 24 inches available and need practical general-purpose storage.
Why Choose a WB24 Base Cabinet?
The biggest advantage of the WB24 is storage. The wider cabinet provides substantially more room for cookware, mixing bowls, countertop appliances, and everyday kitchen supplies while maintaining a manageable cabinet size.
If your layout allows for a 24-inch cabinet, the WB24 offers one of the best balances between storage capacity, flexibility, and ease of installation.
Common Uses for a WB24
- Pots and pans
- Mixing bowls
- Small kitchen appliances
- Crock-Pots and slow cookers
- Air fryers
- Baking dishes
- Food storage containers
- General kitchen storage
The full-width drawer provides convenient storage for utensils, kitchen tools, and other everyday items, while the adjustable shelf below can be repositioned or removed to accommodate taller cookware or appliances.
WB24 vs. WB21
Choose the
WB21 Base Cabinet
when space is limited or when you're planning a compatible door-mounted trash pullout.
Choose the WB24 when your priority is general kitchen storage. The additional three inches provide noticeably more usable cabinet space for cookware, countertop appliances, and larger kitchen items.
Why the WB24 Is Not Recommended for a Door-Mounted Trash Pullout
The WB24 uses two cabinet doors. Most door-mounted trash pullout systems are designed so a single cabinet door attaches directly to the pullout frame and opens with the containers like a large drawer.
Because the WB24 has two doors, that style of installation is generally not practical. If a door-mounted trash pullout is your goal, we usually recommend either the
WB18 Base Cabinet
or the
WB21 Base Cabinet,
depending on the manufacturer's requirements and your available space.
WB24 vs. a Wider Base Cabinet
A wider cabinet will always provide more storage if your layout allows, but it will also become heavier and more difficult to move, assemble, and install. The WB24 has become one of our most popular sizes because it delivers generous storage while remaining easier to handle than many larger base cabinets.
Whenever additional width is available, choose the cabinet that makes the best use of your space. More storage is almost always beneficial, but the WB24 often represents an excellent balance between capacity and practicality.
Designed for Everyday Kitchens
The Partial Overlay Shaker design complements traditional, Craftsman, farmhouse, and transitional kitchens while maintaining the timeless appearance of framed cabinetry. The exposed solid poplar face frame provides a comfortable grip for opening doors and drawers, allowing decorative hardware to be added whenever you choose—but never requiring it.
Whether you prefer cabinet knobs, pulls, or no hardware at all, the Partial Overlay design offers the flexibility to match your style while remaining practical for everyday use.
Built to Last
Built in America, the WB24 features a solid poplar face frame, solid poplar Shaker doors and drawer front with recessed birch plywood center panels, and a durable birch plywood cabinet box. We build our cabinets using hardwood and furniture-grade plywood—never MDF, particleboard, or engineered wood products—for long-term strength, durability, and dependable everyday performance.
Soft-close concealed hinges and full-extension soft-close drawer glides provide smooth, quiet operation. The cabinet is factory finished with Sherwin-Williams White and arrives ready for installation.
Before You Order
Verify your complete cabinet layout before ordering. Confirm the available width, neighboring cabinet sizes, appliance clearances, countertop layout, door operation, and any fillers required near walls or appliances.
