The UW1842 is an 18-inch-wide Unfinished Shaker Wall Cabinet designed to maximize vertical storage while maintaining a clean, balanced cabinet layout. Featuring one door and three adjustable shelves, it provides generous everyday storage while fitting comfortably into a wide variety of kitchen layouts.
Because the cabinet is completely symmetrical, it can be rotated 180 degrees during installation to create either a left- or right-hand door swing. Its practical size makes it one of the most versatile single-door wall cabinets in our collection, providing generous storage while fitting comfortably into many kitchen designs.

Ready for Glass at No Additional Charge
The UW1842 can be ordered Ready for Glass at no additional charge. Instead of the standard recessed maple plywood center panel, the door is prepared to accept customer-supplied glass, allowing you to create a custom display cabinet that complements your kitchen design.
Glass is not included. We recommend using tempered safety glass for all glass door applications and verifying the required glass dimensions after receiving the prepared door.

Built in America, the UW1842 features a solid maple face frame and a solid maple Shaker door with a recessed maple plywood center panel. The cabinet box is constructed from durable birch plywood. We build our cabinets using solid hardwood and durable plywood construction—never MDF, particleboard, or engineered wood products—for long-term strength, durability, and dependable everyday performance.
Soft-close concealed hinges provide smooth, quiet operation. Three adjustable shelves allow the storage space to be arranged around the items you use most often. The unfinished maple exterior is ready for paint, stain, or clear coat, while the cabinet interior already includes a clear natural protective finish.

Finishing Your Unfinished Maple Wall Cabinet
The unfinished maple exterior can be painted, stained, or clear coated to coordinate with your kitchen. Maple can absorb stain unevenly, so proper preparation with a quality wood conditioner or sanding sealer is recommended before staining.
