The UW1530 is a 15-inch-wide Unfinished Shaker Wall Cabinet designed to provide practical everyday storage while maintaining a clean, balanced cabinet layout. Featuring one door and two adjustable shelves, it offers noticeably more usable storage than narrower wall cabinets while still fitting comfortably into many kitchen designs.
Because the cabinet is completely symmetrical, it can be rotated 180 degrees during installation to create either a left- or right-hand door swing. It works well beside larger wall cabinets, over refrigerators, beside range hoods, or anywhere a narrower cabinet helps complete a professional cabinet layout.

If your layout has room for the 18-Inch Unfinished Shaker Wall Cabinet, we generally recommend moving up in size. The wider cabinet provides noticeably more usable storage while maintaining the same height.

Narrow wall cabinets like the UW1530 work best when they solve a specific layout challenge rather than becoming the standard throughout the kitchen. Whenever space allows, larger equal-width wall cabinets create a cleaner appearance, reduce cabinet joints, and provide more usable storage.
Ready for Glass at No Additional Charge
The UW1530 can be ordered Ready for Glass at no additional charge. Instead of the standard recessed maple plywood center panel, the door is prepared to accept customer-supplied glass, allowing you to create a custom display cabinet that complements your kitchen design.
Glass is not included. We recommend using tempered safety glass for all glass door applications and verifying the required glass dimensions after receiving the prepared door.

We build our cabinets using solid hardwood and durable plywood construction—never MDF, particleboard, or engineered wood products—for long-term strength, durability, and dependable everyday performance.
Soft-close concealed hinges provide smooth, quiet operation. Two adjustable shelves allow the storage space to be arranged around the items you use most often. The unfinished maple exterior is ready for paint, stain, or clear coat, while the cabinet interior already includes a clear natural protective finish.

Finishing Your Unfinished Maple Wall Cabinet
The unfinished maple exterior can be painted, stained, or clear coated to coordinate with your kitchen. Maple can absorb stain unevenly, so proper preparation with a quality wood conditioner or sanding sealer is recommended before staining.
