Built in America, the UB42 features a solid maple face frame, solid maple Shaker doors and drawer fronts with recessed maple plywood center panels, and a durable birch plywood cabinet box. Unlike many mass-produced cabinets, we build our cabinets using premium hardwood and furniture-grade plywood—never MDF, particleboard, or other engineered wood products—for long-term strength, durability, and dependable everyday performance.
Every drawer is constructed with a durable 1/2-inch plywood drawer bottom to support everyday kitchen utensils, cookware, and household items. Soft-close concealed hinges and full-extension soft-close drawer glides provide smooth, quiet operation. The unfinished maple exterior is ready for paint, stain, or clear coat, while the cabinet interior already includes a clear natural protective finish.
