Why the GB24 Is Not Recommended for a Door-Mounted Trash Pullout

The GB24 uses two cabinet doors. Most door-mounted trash pullout systems are designed so a single cabinet door attaches directly to the pullout frame and opens with the containers like a large drawer.

Because the GB24 has two doors, that style of installation is generally not practical. If a door-mounted trash pullout is your goal, we usually recommend either the GB18 Base Cabinet or the GB21 Base Cabinet, depending on the manufacturer's requirements and your available space.

A wider cabinet will always provide more storage if your layout allows, but it will also become heavier and more difficult to move, assemble, and install. Soft-close concealed hinges and full-extension soft-close drawer glides provide smooth, quiet operation. The drawer box is constructed with dado and dowel joinery for strength, alignment, and long-term durability. The cabinet is factory finished with Sherwin-Williams Lite Gray and arrives ready for installation.
