The GB15 is an excellent choice when you want a compact cabinet without giving up valuable storage space. While it only adds three inches over a GB12, those additional inches create noticeably more usable storage and provide greater flexibility for organizing your kitchen.
Whenever a kitchen layout allows, we generally recommend upgrading from a GB12 Base Cabinet. The additional storage is immediately noticeable and provides greater flexibility for both current and future storage needs.

The GB12 is a good economical choice when you only need limited drawer storage. The GB15 provides noticeably more cabinet space while maintaining a compact footprint, making it the better option whenever your layout has the available room.
GB15 vs. GB18
The decision between a GB15 and a GB18 Base Cabinet usually comes down to available space. If your layout allows for the larger cabinet, we generally recommend choosing the wider option because additional storage is almost always beneficial.
If you're planning to install a double 28-quart trash pullout, we recommend choosing the GB18. The additional width is much better suited for that application.

Soft-close concealed hinges and full-extension soft-close drawer glides provide smooth, quiet operation. The cabinet is factory finished with Sherwin-Williams Lite Gray and arrives ready for installation.
